We are currently looking for a Manager: Business Solutions in our Technology Solutions Department to work closely with all levels of management, business units, the Project Management Office and Technology Solutions teams to perform business analysis, solution development and implementation in support of present and future business needs.
The incumbent plans, leads, manages and directs all aspects of the Electronic Document Management (EDM) system, ensuring that solutions properly fit the Kootenay Savings business environment and that the solutions are aligned with Kootenay Savings’ goals and objectives. This position provides expertise such as elicitation, analysis, modeling, problem solving and technical documentation to support business solution integrations. The incumbent provides direction for installations and configurations of new solutions to ensure they are integrated into existing and future systems.

The ideal incumbent will possess:
A Bachelor’s degree or Business Analyst Certificate Program (BACP) or working towards completion and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of five to eight years’ experience in the financial industry with an understanding of standard banking processes and fiduciary controls, and increasing responsibilities in analytical and project team roles, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of five years’ experience in the Information Technology industry (or equivalent) with an understanding of the systems development lifecycle and fluency in the general understanding of technical terms and IT fundamentals
Solid understanding and knowledge of business policies and procedures
Proven ability to learn and adapt to new and changing software solutions
Project team management experience
Demonstrated advanced level of competence in the principles and practices of business analysis as well as demonstrated knowledge of the skills, tools and methodology of business analysis
Advanced verbal and written communication skills
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows products
Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle
Advanced customer service skills combined with the ability to work with staff from all levels of the organization
